Its now been three weeks since I got back from Tokyo. Its not an exaggeration to say that it was a life changing experience for me. The energy of all the participants and the administrators, and advisors was so life affirming.

Its sounds a little simplistic, but people can move your sprits.. I think I went to Tokyo, with an open mind, fully expecting to learn and share experiences.. I feel a great hope and optimism that I will be able to translate this energy into something positive for my own life and also for others too. Again, I find myself in a non-cynical bubble able to stand free of that which used to constrain me.

Of course there is a lot more to it then just being positive, but that is the core value which I wish to top-up when it feels like there is no way of solving problems. I believe that we need to remain in control of our optimism. I also believe that people are able to solve problems when they are given hope.

Its been over a week since I got back from Tokyo, memories fade so fast! But some I will not forget:

Jean-Paul from Mexico and his glasses!!

Shou, and his fascination with my beard.

The Mikan from my homestay.

The hotel in Miyazaki - It was for me like a ghost hotel on the ghost coast!

The Ana hotel, 37th Floor breakfasts!!

Certain looks from certain people that make you feel something rare.

Laughing at Howard's ear greetings (in the Lobby of the Ana hotel).

Going out the first night in Roppongi and getting totally freaked by the freakish pimps, pushers and prostitutes.

The last night in Wall Street - when George managed to blag 500yen drinks all night.

The landfill notes night.

Frogs snakes and birds.

The Olympic memorial centre.

Meeting Howard, George and Joanna as well as meeting all the other people who have added to the richness of my life..

Bonny

There are so many more to add..
